Located about 1,000 meters above sea level, Saint-Flour has the distinction of having been partly built on a volcanic plateau, the Planèze. The climate is mild during sunny days with an average temperature that oscillates between 15 and 18 ° C from June to August. This pleasant temperature promotes the practice of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and horse riding. In winter, temperatures are close to zero and can be negative on certain days.
