Our village of Neuvéglise

The name “Néa Gleysa” (New Church) appears in 9th century writings. Our Auvergne campsite is located in this small village nestled at an altitude of 950 metres. Life is calm and peaceful in Neuvéglise, where you can spend a peaceful holiday between lakes and mountains in the heart of the department of Cantal in the Auvergne region. The village has managed to preserve its rural character and authenticity over the years, notably thanks to the lifestyle of its inhabitants. Thanks to the diversity of its natural environment, Neuvéglise offers a wide range of activities throughout the year. In spring, the village hosts sporting events (Trial Aventure, KTM mania …). As a tourist village in its own time, Neuveglise drapes itself in its most beautiful colours during the summer season. You will find a green nature with wild crocuses in bloom and flamboyant broom… You will discover village festivals, country markets and small shops of all kinds with welcoming hosts. In the canton, the village of Saint Urcize also awaits you. The village of Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère passes Station Verte for this year 2020!
